Nitzbon No. 4.4 Classic

The maneuverable indoor chair with large castors: the trippel chair Nitzbon No. 4.4 classic helps elderly or mobility-impaired people gain greater independence. It is versatile and can be used at home, in clinical settings, and at the workplace.

Four smooth-rolling castors allow easy and quick movement while seated with small "tripping steps." The large rubberized wheels, 12.5 cm in diameter, perform well on both carpet and tile floors and easily overcome door thresholds. With a maximum frame width of 62 cm, the chair fits through almost any door.

Individual adjustment of seat and backrest

The seat height is continuously adjustable via gas pressure spring in two ranges: 43 to 54 cm or 43 to 56 cm. Additionally, the seat can be tilted continuously up to approx. 14°. The backrest is ergonomically shaped in the lumbar region and can be adjusted both in height and tilt.

Safe sitting down and standing up

Safety when sitting down and standing up is ensured by the central brake and the twist-proof gas pressure spring. The central brake locks or releases all four castors simultaneously. The brake lever can be mounted on the left or right side of the frame upon request and operated by the user or another person. To prevent sideways twisting movements, the gas pressure spring for seat height adjustment is twist-proof.

Armrests provide additional support

The Nitzbon No. 4.4 classic is standardly available without armrests. For arm support while sitting and reliable assistance when sitting down and standing up, armrests can be ordered as accessories. These armrests are adjustable in height and width, can be lowered to seat level, and can be completely removed. This makes them ideal for lateral transfers, such as from the chair to the bed or to an armchair.
