The height-adjustable arthrodesis chair is a specially designed chair with versatile adjustment options. Its unique feature is the seat with a split, foldable front section. Both halves of the seat can be independently and continuously folded down. This split seat design is particularly beneficial for individuals with knee or hip joint fusions and amputations, as it supports proper sitting posture. This allows for fatigue-free sitting while also helping to prevent secondary damage.
With its polished aluminum base equipped with five wheels that roll smoothly on both hard and soft surfaces, the chair is especially suitable for use as an office or desk chair.
Backrest and armrests provide additional support
The ergonomically shaped backrest supports the spine, especially in the lumbar region, and can be adjusted in both height and tilt. To support the arms while sitting and provide reliable assistance when sitting down or standing up, armrests can be ordered as accessories. The armrests are adjustable in height and width, can be lowered to seat height, and can be completely removed.
